Active Seniors, fall is approaching when the leaves turn and create a beautiful picturesque. Let's take a train ride through North Georgia Blue Ridge into serenity and enjoy the breathtaking mountainous fall scenery, while finding some peace, and tranquility and spending time with ASA friends!!

Yes, it's the "Blue Ridge Train Ride being planned for Saturday, November 8th
This is a Day Trip that starts at the historic depot in downtown Blue Ridge, GA., riders take a four-hour, 26-mile roundtrip journey along the Toccoa River through the North Georgia countryside.

The first leg of the adventure takes riders on a one-hour trip to the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee, nestled deep in the mountains on each state’s line.   We'll hop off the train and browse the towns, do some shopping, have lunch,  during a two-hour layover before taking the one-hour return trip through the scenic forest and back to the depot in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

This cost includes the Premier Car with the following:
-Air Conditioning
-Complimentary group photo (1 per reservation)
-Unlimited Non-Alcoholic Beverages
-Reclining Seats
-Catered snack (small meal with desert) made fresh and delivered every morning
-Restrooms available during trip
-Riders in the Premier Car also have the opportunity to go to the Open Car to take scenic pictures

We are planning a bus trip to the depot in blue ridge where we'll hop off and onto the train and back.  The bus has accommodations for only 28 passengers, so seats are limited.  

The cost for the round trip bus and round trip train rides total including all fees and taxes is $195/per person.  This includes the catered snack (small meal with desert) and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages on the train.  If you are interested in joining us for this serene and scenic trip, sign up on or before September 15th as the train fills fast. Supplies are provided: Easel, Canvas, Paint, Brushes and oh delicious bites.... Just bring yourself, your drink and maybe a friend or two, or just come and make a friend, enjoy the art expressions, the conversations, the bites and the music!
